Walk to School Day October 18th 2007

Due to autumn holiday, Walk to School Day is set to 18th October. We want all the children throughout Norway to participate. For many children the road to school is in the back seat of a car. 40 percent of the youngest children in Norway are driven to school by mum and dad. Walk to School Day October 18th 2006

More than 35 000 Norwegian children walked to school this day to celebrate walking as an environmental and healthy activity. This year Walk to School Day became an national activity, and not just for Oslo.

Walk to School Day October 14th 2005

Due to autumn holiday, Walk To School day was set to 14th October. Over 6.000 children from Oslo was aware of meaning of the day, and walked, ran or jumped to school. We collaborated with the teachers of Oslo to get the kids walking.

Walk to School Day October 6th 2004

Early morning October 6th children from Smestad school Oslo, walked to school with us and Lyn players. The children were excited to walk with the local heroes from the football club Lyn. In Oslo, 7.000 school children participated.
