Summary:

Safe Kids events are being held in Seoul, Daegu, Busan, Incheon, Kwangju, Goyang, Sungnam, Kyungsan, Jeonbuk and Jeju from Oct. 1-31, 2008.

PHOTOVOICE: Children’s Perspectives on Road Traffic Safety will be exhibited at 10 traffic parks during the month of October.

Since last April 2008, nine students at Hwail elementary school have participated in this program. They have taken photographs of their pedestrian environments, including behaviors demonstrated by pedestrians and drivers, as well as dangerous obstacles and conditions they felt posed a risk to their pedestrian safety. In Korea, Safe Kids Korea will exhibit photos taken by students from all over the world in Child Traffic Safety Parks in 10 major cities including Seoul, Busan, Daegu and Incheon for the month of October. The exhibition is free of charge.
